For the Organizing Committee of the FORM-2020 conference, the safety and well-being of our participants is a top priority. So, due to the current outbreak of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) conditions, we have some important information to share with you.
Vietnam is not currently a country with an unfavorable epidemiological situation but we still receive reports from a number of participants and members of the Scientific Committee about the difficulties they faced when planning to attend the conference due to local restrictions on business trips.
Many participants of the conference live in countries where governments are currently taking emergency measures to help avoid the spread of coronavirus infection, such as canceling flights, quarantine, sanitary measures, travel bans and others. For its part, the Organizing Committee of the conference considers it necessary to take all possible precautions and ensure compliance with anti-epidemic requirements that will help to preserve the health and create optimal working conditions for FORM-2020 participants and guests.
In light of the fact that the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the worldwide outbreak of the new coronavirus a pandemic the FORM-2020 Organizing Committee decided to postpone the conference to September 23-26, 2020 in Hanoi (Vietnam).
The Organizing Committee draws your attention to the fact that the publication dates of the conference proceedings remain unchanged. Accordingly, the submission of papers must meet the deadlines specified on the conference website. The conference proceedings will be published before the conference begins.
The Organizing Committee intends to strictly adhere to the recommendations of WHO in the future. We hope that the situation will normalize and the conference will be in its annual face-to-face format and we will be able to meet and talk together in sunny Hanoi on September 23-26. However, if this does not happen and the circumstances are against us we do not plan to cancel the conference or change its dates again. The Organizing Committee will do everything possible to organize an on-line event format convenient for all participants instead.
If you are a conference participant and find the new conference dates inconvenient for you, we will understand your wish to withdraw your application. In this case, all registration fees that were paid before 01.04.2020 will be returned by the Organizing Committee in full as soon as possible. To do this please send an email to email@example.com
The FORM-2020 Organizing Committee is fully responsible for everything related to the organization of this event and assures that it does everything possible to maintain a safe, healthy environment and favorable working conditions.
In the meantime we hope this situation diffuses quickly and wish all the participants of FORM-2020 good health.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
